Casa rural Atalaya

The rural house of Meano (Navarra) is located in the Sierra de Cantabria, 15 minutes from cities such as Logroño.

Formerly was used for the wine production, as well as for storage, for what was called the house of wine.
In this one the original materials have been conserved, such as the stairs and the stone facade, the balconies and the wooden beams.

At present, her spaces have been carefully rehabilitated, creating a modern home, which covers all needs, but maintains the traditional spirit that characterizes it. XX
With a total of 11 seats, the house is decorated with an original touch and is divided into different rooms:

• Wide and modern kitchen fully equipped
• Living room with television
• 5 bedrooms: one single, 2 doubles (with 2 single beds) and 2 double rooms
• 5 bathrooms complete with shower

One of the rooms is on the ground floor and is adapted for people with reduced mobility, as well as the bathroom that accompanies the bedroom. The rest of the rooms are on the first floor. The double bedrooms have their own common area, apart from the one in the house.

Also available is 2 sofa beds y the possibility of soliticar breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When peeking out of the house, we discovered in the back a sports and games area.

This charming accommodation has all the possible amenities.

And if to this fact we add the magnificent views of this house, to the Rioja and the Sierra de Cantabria, this place is an idyllic place to feel at home and enjoy a holiday period of the most pleasant and satisfying in family or with friends.

Meano belongs to the municipality of Merindad de Estella, located in the Sierra de Cantabria, the western part of Navarra, and 15 minutes from Logroño and Laguardia, 2 towns with great charm, and near other places of Navarre, La Rioja and Country Vasco.

In Logroño it is highly recommended to walk through its historic center and try the tapas bars in this area. While in Laguardia you can take advantage to know what hides its wall and the numerous bodegas.

From the Sierra de Cantabria We observe La Rioja and spaces with a space of vegetation that contrasts with the lush forests of the north slope.

If you like the golf, only 7 kilometers away is the Izki golf course, with 16 holes. Other activities possible in the area are: climbing, mountaineering, mushroom picking, BTT, caving, multi-adventure, hiking, gastronomic routes, canyoning, hang gliding, paragliding, etc.

There are some routes in the Sierra de Cantabria, such as the Vuelta por El León Dormido and the Ascent to San Tirso.
