Sourroundings of Casa Rural Bakubitxi
In Murguía (Álava) there are a large number of stately buildings, among which are the Mansion of Vea Murgia, the palace of the Marquesa or that of Vivancos. Iradier's house is also very striking.
One of the most symbolic buildings is the Town Hall, which was completed in 1766. It has a heraldic shield on the façade, typical of Basque architecture.
The religious building that stands out the most is the church of San Miguel, which began to be built in 1805 and is an important part of the cultural heritage of the municipality.
In the surroundings there is a rocky mount called Las Peñas de Oro where the shrine of Nuestra Señora de Oro is located. This is the patron saint of the valley of Zuia.
