Casa Rural Doña Vela

The Rural House Doña Vela is located in the Malaga municipality of Riogordo, belonging to the Axarquía region.

Located in the middle of the mountain, this old Cortijo built three centuries ago, has been transformed into a rural house through reconstruction and conditioning techniques that have allowed to make it habitable.

A rural accommodation of 2 plants with the capacity to house some 10-14 people in which we find:

• 6 double rooms of which 4 have a marriage bed and, the other 2 have two individual beds. As for the decoration, follow some rustic style lines very related to the location of the house. They are stays designed for a pleasant rest equipped with wardrobe closet in each of the rooms, tables and windows. We also offer the possibility of requesting a crib.

• 3 complete bathrooms ; With hydromassage, shower and bathtub bathtub respectively, decorated with wooden tiles and furniture, as well as the bathroom floor of the upper floor, which is also in wood. All bath clothes are provided at home.

• A spacious zone destined for the living room-dining room in which both environments are differentiated thanks to a brick arch. In the living room, the disposition of the sofas is oriented according to the chimney and television, both glued to the wall. Our fondness for hunting can be seen on the walls. The dining room, meanwhile, has a large table and chairs for all guests.

• The last stay is the cuisine, with all types of appliances (firewood, microwave, coffee maker...) and necessary utensils; with ancient stone countertop and battery. In this area of ​​the house we wanted to add a small wooden table, for breakfast.

Finally, the house has a great outdoor zone in which the main attraction, in addition to the pool, is the cenor, with several tables and chairs and a large barbecue. All this together with the spectacular mountain landscape, make this part of the house one of the favorites.
