Casa Rural Ekain

This rural house is located in the village of Lintzoain, in the center of the Erro Valley, a quiet and silent natural enclave to enjoy the countryside and where to forget the worries.

The house retains the original wooden beams and is decorated in a way that takes advantage of all the rustic elements of the house to offer the guest a rural atmosphere that conveys the feeling of peace and tranquility that is perceived in the field.

Built in 2 floors, this house has capacity for 4 people and is divided into:

• 2 double bedrooms, one of them furnished with double bed and the other with 2 single beds.

• A bathroom fully equipped to share by the 2 rooms.

• A room with comfortable sofas in which to rest from a day of walks in the field that also includes a dining table where you can play table games.

• A reading room which is accessed through a staircase from the living room ideal to read comfortably and enjoy the tranquility of this hiding place.

• A kitchen decorated with wooden furniture and fully equipped with all modern conveniences that allow you to cook quickly and without too much effort.

• A green zone that surrounds the house by which you can walk, contemplate the views or take great breakfasts in the terrace sentados in their outdoor furniture.

The house has, besides heating and hot water para not to spend cold during the crudest months, and of all the household linen and household items necessary to spend a few pleasant days in this country house.

Lintzoain is a small village in Navarre inhabited by 63 people located in the center of the valley of Erro. This valley is full of forests, meadows and caves, located in the foothills of the mountains that surround it. In some of these caves, prehistoric remains of the Mesolithic have been found. In addition, in the valley you can also find circles of stones and dolmens from the year 1200 a.C.

In the heart of this valley is Sorogain, a natural enclave covered with green and covered with beech and oak trees forming a place that forces the visitor to go back in time and admire this natural wonder. In this enclave is the source of the Erro River, a tributary of the Irati that gives its name to the valley.

Very close to the valley is Roncesvalles, a town that stands out for having a pilgrims hospital built in 1792 which is accessed by a portal formed by a semicircular arch with a pediment of neoclassical style.
