Casa Rural El Asturiano

This casa rura l is located in one of the points with the greatest history and repercussion of the Principado de Asturias, in Intriago, belonging to the municipality of Cangas de Onís, the first town reconquered by Don Pelayo, hero of this land thanks to the exploits achieved during that period of Spanish history.

The building has had to be rehabilitated to accommodate guests, but retains the rustic style, which does not clash with the lifestyle and the rest of the houses of this Asturian hamlet.

The conservation of the rustic style, but without forgetting the comforts of modern and modern life, were the great objective that the owners were looking for in this rural house, a goal that they have achieved, since nowadays it is a comfortable and comfortable accommodation in which to spend a relaxing vacation.

The house has 2 rooms. The largest has a double bed, while the other has 2 single beds but spacious. In both rooms, the wood requires a great role in decoration.

Cangas de Onís is a small Asturian town located within the Natural Park of the Picos de Europa, surrounded by green mountains and valleys that cross the rivers Sella and Güeña, making this region a unique and great place beauty.

Its location within the Picos de Europa allows visitors and tourists to perform different activities, such as the trekking. One of the most popular is to make the bike climb to the Lakes of Covadonga, first class port, well known in the cycling world.

At the foot of these lakes is the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Covadonga, a place that congregates a multitude of pilgrims.
