Casa Rural El Cortijo - Monachil

This typical Andalusian rural accommodation is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada National Park, in the town of Monachil. It was created in 1911 and has all the characteristic elements of Andalusia, such as courtyards and terraces with half-height walls of tiles and decorated with a lot of color thanks to the different pots of flowers and ceramic plates.

The rural house is part of the complex Casadelaida, which integrates this house and El Granero, which is stuck on one of the sides and which can be up to 5 people. We also have the possibility of renting both for the same group, since as we said it is practically united. In total you have more than 500 square meters interior.

This can accommodate a maximum of 11 people in 4 rooms, two of them triple and 2 with double beds.

Also, among its common interior spaces we can find:

• 3 kitchens with all your necessary equipment, some of them with bar of American type.
• 2 rooms, one of them structured as a dining room that looks onto one of the kitchens and has a fireplace. Both with television.
• 3 bathrooms, some with hydromassage showers and others with bathtub.

The rural accommodation has different accesses to the different floors a through the numerous terraces with which it has on the outside, as well as many other balconies. All equipped with places to rest and make meals.

In addition, the house has a private pool of 10x4 meters with several sunbeds, a esplanade with 2 barbecues and bars for celebrations and a orchard of 3,500 square meters.

This is also an ecological country house. We have taken advantage of its location in the Sierra de Gredos, from where both the pool water and the one that reaches the accommodation is. And we use energy from biomass for the heating and hot water.

This rural accommodation is located in the municipality of Monachil Granada and is just in the middle of different attractive areas:

• The ski resort of Sierra Nevada, place to enjoy great snowy landscapes and where great events related to snow sports have been held. It is less than an hour's drive away.
• The Alhambra and the entire historic city of Granada just 7 kilometers away.
• The coast granadin a about 50 kilometers.

It is therefore a great place for both winter tourism and summer.
