Casa Rural El Ermitaño

El Ermitaño Rural House is a rural house that is located in the town of Leon Compludo, at Ponferrada, built in the nineteenth century and characterized by its garden with barbecue and its room with fireplace.

This old farm was restored in the 90s, respecting the architecture of the region. It is on the outskirts of the town, so peace and tranquility are fully guaranteed.

It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and a bathroom to share between the tenants, with a bathtub-shower. Both bedrooms have wooden ceilings, like the rest of the rooms.

In a single space are the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. There are tables with chairs to make comfortable meals, a television and a sofa. The American bar of the kitchen allows to create a certain separation between these three rooms. It has gas cooker, oven, refrigerator and microwave.

Outside, we find an area with lawn, trees and shrubs, and garden furniture, such as tables and deck chairs. There is also a garden on the outside.

In this rural accommodation there is no lack of the washing machine, useful for long stays, or the heating, essential in the winter months.

Compludo, perteneciente a the region of El Bierzo is a small village located in a green valley, where you can enjoy the Meruelo river over and mountains and forests that surround the lugar.

You can also visit the area la Herrería Compludo hydraulics, medieval building declared a national monument, the Castle Temple, Montes de Valduerza, the monastery, or la church of St. Thomas of Pots, Moorish-style.
