Casa Rural El Granero

This old Andalusian farmhouse that today has been converted into a rural accommodation that is located in the municipality of Monachil, in the center of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park. It has more than 100 years of history, since it was built in 1911, but it has been remodeled on several occasions to adapt to new customs, while maintaining its Andalusian style. 

It is a small rural house on a single floor where can stay between 3 and 5 people. 

It has the following interior spaces: 

• Room with light blue walls and three single beds. 
• Bathroom that has a towel set and has  shower. 
• Living room with wooden dining table and cupboard.
• Kitchen with small and large appliances, as well as a ceramic hob, microwave and other utensils. 

But if you need more space, we put at your disposal the other house that makes up the Casadelaida complex, called Casa El Cortijo. This is much larger, has space for 11 people, and is attached to El Granero, which communicate with each other easily. 

In the outdoor common areas you can enjoy numerous terraces decorated with flowers and where ceramics have a great presence, a swimming pool 10 meters long by 4 m wide, next to a solarium, a more orchard of 3,000 square meters and a space equipped with two barbecues. 

All the water that comes to the house comes from Sierra Nevada and is drinkable.

Likewise, the heating system and other energy in the house are produced through biomass, to respect the environment as much as possible. 

The rural house has enough outdoor space in which to get lost in and enjoy its typical Andalusian decoration, its trees and natural surroundings.

But Monachil is also located near many other emblematic places, as is the case of La Alhambra, located in Granada (30 minutes by car) and one of the most visited monuments in Spain. 

It is part of the Sierra Nevada National Park, where the famous ski resort,, is also located 23 kilometers away.
