Casa rural Ginkgos

Ginkgos is a rural accommodation located in the Cáceres part of the Sierra de Gredos for 6 people.

Our house 2 heights is synonymous with love, each corner has been decorated to detail so that you feel at home. It was built on an old block and we have preserved some elements of this as the oak beams or the main walls in stone.

Each of our rooms has its own name as we consider that they have particular charm and are:

• Tuscan bedroom: double bed with canopy, stone walls, balcony and own bathroom with shower.
• Peach bedroom: double bed with wrought iron details and bathroom with shower.
• Indigo bedroom: double room with canopy beds and balcony with spectacular views of the mountains, open the window and breathe.

On the ground floor, we find our living-dining room decorated with dark wood beams and a chill-out environment with sofas around a fireplace to feel the warmth of home. In addition, this room has an office area where you can cook whatever you want with all comfort.

We have both air conditioning and heating and in the TV room with DVD.

The communication between the two floors is carried out by a stairway carved in wood and stone, this element maintains the harmony of the decoration of the ground floor and moves it to the upper floor.

Finally, we invite you to discover the collection of Ginkos Biloba (Asian tree) with the technique of bonsai that we have and that gives name to our house.

Our environment not only has a unique flora and fauna in the peninsula, such as melojo oak and oak, but we also have a great cultural heritage. Visit Collado de la Vera, with its church of San Cristóbal from the 15th century, its traditional stone laundry and the natural water sources from which many habintes of the town are still stocked.

Among our wonderful gastronomy are the migas, the mushrooms and asparagus and the cabrito.

In addition, we recommend a visit to the famous Gorges of the Vera where you will see a natural spectacle created between the course of the water and the relief elevations.

Among the activities you can do are quad routes, hair rides, hiking, mountain biking, paintball or climbing.
