Casa Rural La Cuca

The rural house has a traditional appearance and is located in the urban center of Lerín (southwest of Estella-Lizarra), a town of about 2,000 inhabitants, found on a rocky crag and neighbor of the river Ega.

This house has a maximum capacity to accommodate 12 people and can be rented by rooms or completely.

Each of the rooms in the house is very spacious; They are distributed as follows:

• In the basement we find a wonderful SPA with jacuzzi with chromotherapy and bubble bed designed to measure for the home
• On the lower floor the kitchen-dining room, the living room and a toilet
• The first floor is divided into living room and 2 double rooms, each with bathroom
• The second has living room-library and 2 double rooms with bathroom
• The third and last, the ground floor is composed of: living room for reading and a double room with bathroom

The living rooms have fireplace, two in total, and television. All rooms offer Internet connection ( WiFi ) and the bedrooms have bedding, dresser and / or wardrobes.

The kitchen is fully equipped with two long tables with more than 14 chairs, washer-dryer, dishwasher, coffee makers, microwave, oven, induction cooker, toaster, juicer and teapot, among other utensils.

The rooms are very spacious and are divided into 2 types: suite and deluxe.
The first are a total of 2 rooms and consist of:

• Bedroom with 2 beds and a convertible pouf in extra bed
• Living room with television, sofas, mini bar, coffee machine and microwave
• Bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towel rail, etc.

The deluxe rooms are 3 and are equipped with:

• Bedroom with 2 beds
• Bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towel rail, etc.

This accommodation, like the rural houses Tahona, has a peculiarity that runs through it: a huge vein of quartz.

The house is very well maintained and decorated with works of art. In addition, it complies with the characteristics that an environmentally sustainable house possesses. It is ideal for groups or couples.

It is a distinguished, modern and cozy house, with comfort and everything necessary for the comfort and tranquility of the guests during their stay.

In Lerín there are lots of options to do excursions or activities. Some points of interest son:

• Routes of the quartz
• Visit to the caves of Lerín (Cuevas del Aguachal)
• Visit wine cellar and cata
• Route of dams and natural sources: source of salt water, fountain of lovers, source of the sick
• Visit to the abandoned town of Baigorri
• Old Mill

Between the routes of Lerín, we find:

• Ascent to the heights of San Marcos (7 kilometers)

The river Ega is near the house, next to which we find the hermit barroca and rebuilt of Our Lady the White.

In addition, as historical heritage there are numerous emblazoned houses and certain palacianas; a parish house and a baroque building.

Next to the church, the building " Fuerte Cazorla " is the only historical one. This is an ideal viewpoint, since it is the highest place in town.

It is worth highlighting the work of protection of the bustards that Lerín is carrying out in the Sarda and Baigorrana sites, through an experimental project.

At 15 km is Park of Memory en Sartaguda and 20 km the Greenway of the Basque-Navarro Railway donde to walk. You can also take the opportunity to enjoy wonderful views at Mirador Barranco de Peñalén or swim in summer at Alloz reservoir, where you can discover quejigales, pines and pastures.
