Casa Rural La Poveda

This charming rural house of La Póveda, in Soria, has been prepared to offer a stay of tranquility in full rural Soriano enclave, surrounded by the autochthonous nature.

Its stone construction evokes past, while the furniture and the bright colors of the interior provide the light and comfort of modern times. Up to 8 guests can turn this house into their residence during a well-deserved rest in lands of the east of Castilla y León.

The rooms of the house are distributed in 2 floors. In the upper is where we find the 4 bedrooms: 3 with double bed and one with 2 single beds. The double bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, and one of them has an integrated bathroom; the second bathroom of the plant has independent access and is shared.

In the ground floor we find the rest of life stays. The main one is the room, where a chimney occupies the center, seconded by a flat screen TV and an elegant and functional lounge furniture, where we will find table games, to pass the deadlines at home. In front of these elements we find 3 comfortable armchairs with ears, that invite to the rest.

Next to the lounge area we have the dining room, sharing space with the first one. It consists of a table and 8 chairs, exactly the same as the maximum number of occupants of the house, so that it does not miss any of them.

The kitchen is in a separate room, and we find it perfectly equipped for all our culinary needs: from refrigerator to oven and microwave, and also a dishwasher to spare no time scrubbing the dishes.

There is a toilet basic on the lower floor, with toilet and sink. Both this and the 2 full bathrooms of the upper floor are perfectly equipped and clean, with a good ventilation system.
On the outside of the house we will find parking, nearby and accessible, free of charge. The views from the house are impressive, encompassing all the green countryside surrounding the town.

La Póveda is a beautiful town belonging to Soria that borders on La Rioja. It is composed of 2 municipalities: Arguijo and Barriomartín.

It is located in a privileged place, in the heart of the Regional Hunting Reserve of Urbión en you will find a varied fauna composed of deer, wild boar and other endangered species such as the golden eagle. In fact, we recommend that you visit the area during the RE2 show to enjoy an event that is rarely repeated.

The area is surrounded by forests of oaks, beeches and pines. There are also many holly trees and near the town you can visit the acebal de Garagüeta to check it. A few km away you can also find the Sierra de Urbión and the Cebollera.

Numancia and the route of Icnitas are also close to our accommodation, a highly recommended visit.

In addition, you can also take a nice walk through the Cañada Real Soriana, a few kilometers road that goes to Barriomartín.
