Casa Rural Misolete

This rural house is located in the small town of Cortegana, in the Andalusian province of Huelva. The house is built in stone, brick and chestnut wood to blend in with the environment and not contribute to the visual pollution of nature.

It has a capacity of 4 people organized in 2 double rooms, one of them with double bed and the other with single beds separated. In addition to the rooms, the house has the following rooms:

• 2 full bathrooms for you to find as comfortable as possible and a small toilet on the ground floor.

• A living room furnished with a table in which to share long meals, 2 sofas in which to rest after a day on the farm and a fireplace to read or fall asleep listening to the crackling of the firewood.

• A kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, to be able to wash clothes after having been in contact with the animals, refrigerator to be able to keep the local products fresh, cookers to cook succulent dishes with traditional flavor and microwave to warm the milk of breakfast in the morning.

• A terrace equipped with garden furniture in which to enjoy great breakfasts outdoors or a succulent grilled barbecue on the barbecue that is in a corner.

This farmhouse is located in the same building as the Montefrío house, with which pool shares, although each house has separate entrance and garden. The house also has access to a game zone which include the petanque, to perform competitions with the whole family, and a ping-pong table.

Within the same farm, although something separate from the house, there is a child zone with swings so that the children can have fun and release their energy.

The farm is specialized in eco-agroturismo, a variety of tourism in which the visitor can learn and appreciate life on a farm. If the visitor wishes, he will be able to help with the farm tasks, such as milking the goats o take care of the different animals, as well as agriculture, as would be the sowing and collection of the orchard products.

Cortegana is an old medieval village in which its main monuments are the Castle. In fact we celebrate a medieval festival in which we illuminate the castle.

The Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche are a few kilometers from our location. It is the habitat of numerous wild animals and birds of prey, as well as being plagued by lush forests. It is one of the most important parks of the peninsula.

Jabugo, which gives name to the well-known hams, is also a neighboring municipality. Apart from this precious delicacy, the town is home to a monument called the Pichón shooting.

Ríotinto mines is known for its landscape similar to that of the moon. It is known for the huge reservoir of red water that collects the cacuce del Rio Tinto.
