Casa Rural Molino Del Arriero

Our Rural House is in a village in León, Luyego de Somoza.

In the house they can stay up to 10 guests, distributed in 4 rooms, three double and a marriage . All of them with full bathroom, TV, totally equated.

The house, once, was a mill from the beginning of the 20th century. It worked with electricity and had activity until the 70s. From that moment on, was reformed and became a rural house. Despite being totally remodeled, the work was done without damaging the original materials, in fact, extolling them and giving them more importance.

The building itself is majestic. It shows that it is an ancient construction by rustic air, but it looks new and well renovated. The facade stands out for its stone and its bongary windows draw a beautiful set. Everything is topped by bushes and flowers, which give the perfect touch to accommodation.

The site of the house is privileged within the town, as it is in the meadow of the Virgen de los Remedios.

There is internet, with wifi throughout the house.

The exterior is also lovely, all with ground of stones and many flowers. In the interior patio a terrace is placed to enjoy the good weather. There are tables and chairs. It also puts a terrace in the restaurant part for diners.

Luyego is located in the Maragatería, León. Exactly, the town is in the Somoza Zone, as reflected in their name. It is one of the oldest regions in Spain, populated for centuries.

In the people itself is the hermitage of Our Lady of Remedies, patron of the Maragatería, construction raised in the middle of the seventeenth century. The Hermitage of the Cross can also be visited, although it is not fully preserved. On the other hand, the gold mines of Fucochico are an impressive place, about 200 meters deep.

The Monteo Teleno, the highest of the Montes de León, is very close to the house. This area is full of rivers and represents a perfect opportunity for the practice of hiking.

The Torreón de los Osorio is the only element that remains standing from the whole Turienzo de los Caballeros. Has been recently renovated.

You can also visit the Valdemanzanas Church or the ancient Busnadiego church.
