Casa Rural Sendero del Saja-Besaya

In an incomparable setting, close to the National Park of Saja-Besaya and in Cobejo, which Besaya itself crosses, we find this magnificent rural house, built in stone with wooden beams, which gives it that air rustic that belies the completely modern equipment that it enjoys in the interior. Its location is perfect to undertake adventure activities and active tourism by the interior of Cantabria.

The house consists of 2 independent homes that can be rented separately or completely and exclusively, to accommodate groups of up to 14 people, on request. Although the minimum stay is one night, the price per night is reduced by renting it from 3 nights.

The main unit, the Casa Saja, has 3 bedrooms, of them 2 with double beds and one with 2 single beds. There is the possibility to integrate 2 extra beds more.

On the ground floor has a living room with fireplace, cozy and familiar, which continues with the same rustic style of the rest of the house. Also here is a television, and throughout the house you can enjoy internet access, so indoor entertainment is assured.

It has a kitchen, perfectly equipped, with dishwasher and a washing machine. In total there are 2 bathrooms, of which one is a toilet without shower or bathtub and the other is complete.

The House Besaya is a little smaller and does not have a kitchen or living room, but with a balcony that leaves the room with double bed, and has another room with 2 single beds. You can also opt for extra beds, with a third bedroom that can be converted into a bedroom. It has 2 full bathrooms.

Both units enjoy internet access, and the heating ensures that the rooms will be warm and pleasant at night. XX
Outside, guests can have a parking area on the farm, and a large private garden with barbecue, where to meet to eat, chat or have a good time outdoors, oblivious to everything else .

It is located at the entrance of National Park Saja-Besaya, a fabulous environment to travel to see its spectacular panoramas and contemplate the native wildlife.

The house is located on the Camino del Besaya, the old Camino de Santiago to the north, and less than 200 meters from the Roman Causeway of Pie de Concha-Pesquera, a very important and precious hiking route.

About 30 kilometers away is Suances, with its quiet and cozy beaches, and a little further you will reach Santander, where both the architecture and the beaches always attract the attention of visitors.

Before reaching Suances we can deviate and end at Santillana del Mar, a town with a long cultural tradition and beautiful architecture, as well as being the site of the Altamira Caves. Comillas is a bit further away, but the guest who is fond of cultural tourism can not miss the opportunity to visit its streets and architectural monuments, among which the Palacio de los Sobrellano and Capricho de Gaudí stand out.
