Casa Rural Urra

Located in Zurucuáin, at the foot of the Sierra de Andía, this house is an ideal house to retire with friends or with the family to the field to spend a few days of vacation.

It is a new construction house that respects the traditional materials of stone and wood to mimic with the houses of the town.

Built on 3 floors, this house can host up to 11 people and is divided into the following rooms:

• 5 double bedrooms, 2 of them with marriage bed and the other 3 with 2 individual beds. The bedroom located in the attic has the capacity to host a supplementary bed.

• 2 bathrooms fully equipped and with bathtub, which serve all rooms.

• A living room furnished with comfortable sofas in which to relax in front of the television, which also has a ligh with sofas that can be used as reading room.

• A dining room with a long table that can be used to play as long as you are not eating.

• A kitchen with wooden cabinets and marble countertops equipped with all the appliances necessary for the stay in the house to be as comfortable as possible.

• A terrace completely furnished to enjoy barbecue succulents in the barbecue.

• A wide garden to walk, sunbathe and play ball.

• A winery, with the possibility of tasting one of the wines of the house that has a dining room with chimney.

Zurucuáin is a town of 95 inhabitants, according to the 2007 census. It is located west of Navarra, in the Yerri Valley, which limits the north with the Sierra de Andía. This mountain range is a smooth undulations plateau by which various routes and excursions can be made. One of these is the one that goes up to Meziza. It is an easy route, with a circular route and lasts about 3 hours and 20 minutes. From the top of the Meziza, a spectacular panoramic view of the Sierra and the meadows and forests that form it.

Together with the Sierra de Urbasa, Las Améscoas and the Natural Reserve of the Uriedra Nacedero, the Sierra de Andía forms the Natural Park of Urbasa-Andía. This park is fundamentally populated by green meadows and beech, which form magical places. One of these places is the nacedero of the Urederra, a waterfall of bluish waters worth seeing.

Near this area is also the Alloz Reservoir, fed by the Salado River, which allows you to bathe in summer, or walk through its banks in winter. It is also a good idea, to take a boat walk through its waters, contemplating the mountains and their reflection.
