Manzanera is a small town in Teruel province of 539 inhabitants located in the region of Gúdar-Javalambre. Within the urban core of this population of medieval origin is the Portal de Abajo, an opening of the wall that has been declared a national historic-artistic monument, the Portal de Arriba and the ruins of the castle, remains of the Muslim occupation of this town.

Near this town is the Sierra de Gúdar, which belongs to the Iberian mountain range.
