Almost in the center of Peñaflor, in Seville, 200 meters from the Guadalquivir river, we find this charming rural house, which will surprise us by how its modern equipment has been perfectly combined in a rustic Andalusian-style house from the beginning of the century XX.

The house was restored in December 2011, following the architectural and decorative line of the typical Andalusian houses, using recovered materials in the wooden ceilings, the floor and the tiles, so that it is an exact replica of a century house. XX. Its antique furniture has been rescued and restored, giving the house that rustic atmosphere in every corner, which does not argue with modern technology and comforts.
It is cataloged as Asset of Cultural Interest, since it stands on the old site of the Peñaflor castle and preserves part of the 12th century Almohad wall.
Its 3 double rooms have large double and single beds, to accommodate a total of 6 guests in the accommodation. They are bright rooms, with views of different parts of the town. The decoration is simple, and a different bedding has been chosen for each bedroom, giving them their own style.
In the rustic living room we will find a white wood-burning fireplace, surrounded by comfortable sofas with several cushions and large windows that let in the light in abundance. There is also a flat screen television, oriented to be seen from all the chairs. In the house we have free wifi, so we can turn this room into a perfect meeting place where you can rest, access the internet or watch television.
We go to kitchen, which is in the same room; It is perfectly equipped and has an oven and washing machine, so not only will we not miss any cooking appliances, but we will also be able to keep our clothes clean and ready.
Outside we find the most interesting room in the house: here is the patio, with gray tiles, garden furniture and a magnificent blue Jacuzzi, in the style of a fountain, at the end of the patio. A vine casts shade on the porch, and to one side is the barbecue, to prepare great outdoor meals, with the rumor of the fountain as the soundtrack.

In 5 minutes walking you can reach the center of Peñaflor, and visit the walls that surrounded the city. Also of great interest are El Higuerón, a pre-Roman construction from the 5th-2nd centuries BC, and Celti, a Roman archaeological site of an ancient city. There are also many charming religious buildings, such as the Ermita de Villadieg o, with a Mudejar-style tower.
The proximity of the Guadalquivir makes it possible to access its waters, and follow its banks through the different towns that settle on its banks.
To the north, 10 minutes away by car, we can find La Puebla de los Infantes, a town on the border between Seville and Córdoba. It is the prelude to the Sierra Norte Natural Park, and in its surroundings we can rejoice with landscapes as wonderful as the Embalse de José Torán, with bathing and fishing areas.
At almost the same distance are the Sierra Norte Natural Park, in Seville, and the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park,, in Córdoba.
