Casa Tío Pocho

Traditional accommodation located on the outskirts of the Albacete town of Letur. It is part of El Parador, a 19th century construction with unbeatable views of the town and the surroundings. Being an old country house, the function of its rooms have varied over the years. The name of it comes from the one who in his day had the function of caring for and maintaining the stables, Tío Pocho.
The building has been recently renovated and due to its size it has been possible to distribute 3 independent houses in . In the transformation we decided to preserve its original structure, predominantly wood and stone materials.
There is a total of 350 m2 of garden to be shared among the 3 accommodations of the farm, since all the outdoor space has been designed for common use, including the porch, the terrace in the garden and the barbecues.

Austerity and elegance, aspects that define this type of construction, characterize both the exterior and the interior spaces. Despite this, we have known how to adapt to current needs, by providing the home with heating and all kinds of functional services.
It is distributed in 2 floors.

• The first floor is reserved for the kitchen space, separated and at the same time communicated with the dining room by a bar attached to the same partition. Right at the entrance of the house, at a slightly higher level but on the same floor you will find the living room. They are bright rooms, decorated in pastel tones, and with electronic devices on both sides, being the television in the living room, and the microwave and the ceramic hob in the kitchen.

• The second floor is occupied by 2 double bedrooms and the bathroom. Spacious and bright spaces with beautiful views. One of the rooms, the master bedroom, has a double bed. The other unit is furnished with 2 single beds joined at the headboard. The bathroom has shower tray and curtain.

Visitors can go directly from the house to the patio, where they will find the necessary furniture to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

In Letur, one of the roads that crosses it is remarkable, that of El Huerto, which despite being on the outskirts, separates it a few meters from the old town and from the places of greatest interest, among which are the recreational area of ​​ El Charco. or Las Juntas del Río Jumeta.

In the vicinity there are areas where in summer it is possible to take a bath, such as the Charco Pataco or El Cantero.
Hidden landscapes with spectacular waterfalls such as the Cascada del Arroyo and the best views of the Region from its viewpoints.

The sunset in the Comarca del Segura is perfect in the Barranco de Socovos. The best views of the Sierra and the town itself are seen from La Molatica, a kind of natural balcony over the rocks of the rock.
