Caserío Indakoborda

The rural accommodation Caserío Indakoborda is located in an environment full of nature; 2 km from the village of Erratzu, in Navarra.

With a capacity for 12 people, no pets since, due to hygiene they are not allowed, it is one of the best options in terms of family getaways or with friends.

Surrounded by countryside, this old reformed farmhouse in which its stone façade is conserved, consists of three floors where we can find all kinds of comforts that, surely, will make our stay in the North of Spain, a unique experience.

On the ground floor we locate:

• A private entrance, independent of the main one, which opens onto a small living room, with an open concept throughout the plant and decorated with antique elements such as it can be your wicker rocking chair and a stretcher table where you can rest while reading a good book from your little library.

On the first floor of the cottage, which can be accessed through the main door, there:

• A kitchen with wooden furniture and white tile front, equipped with all the necessary household appliances for common use (refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven and a modern vitoceràmica, among others). < / li>

• Dining room connected to the kitchen in which you will find, on one of its walls, a cupboard for crockery and cutlery in dark wood, which matches the table and chairs that preside over this room .

• Living room with armchairs-rocking chairs and sofas in addition to a television with DVD system and a wide collection of films and games to spend a pleasant time of entertainment Heat your wood burning fireplace.

• A spacious terrace from which you access through this living room or lounge, with all the outdoor furniture necessary to relax while you watch the views; with wooden benches, deckchairs, low tables and a large table and deck chairs.

• 4 double rooms in which, their double beds are decorated with sturdy old wooden headboards. In all rooms there is also a window that opens its view to the garden of the rural house.

• 4 bathrooms integrated into each of the rooms and decorated with great taste; all are equipped to the maximum with any element necessary for daily personal hygiene.

The highest floor of the house, on the other hand, is the attic area and in it we find:

• 2 rooms with a double bed that follow the same decorative lines as the ones on the lower floor, having a special charm due to this last floor attic.

• A full bathroom, with towels included and decorated to the last millimeter. Includes hair dryer.

• A kitchen that makes this space a mini apartment, with the greatest privacy and that is also equipped with all appliances and with ceramic hob for cooking.

• A living room for the occupants of this floor, which has a large plasma screen with DVD equipment and comfortable sofas and armchairs to enjoy this environment.

The entire stay has heating and both bedding and towel sets are included.

Its exterior is a completely natural zone, favored by its isolated location in which its walls rise.

Surrounded by countryside and trees, its perimeter is fenced in wood and in it we find a very large garden and cobbled terrace with natural material that extends over the walls of the facade of the Caserío Indakoborda, a outdoor barbecue and seating areas outdoors.

Erratzu is the village where the Caserío Indakoborda is located; a natural place in which the fields and the populated areas of trees that leave unparalleled views of the north of the country predominate.

In addition, by history, the Valley of Baztán, zone to which Erratzu belongs, and one of the most extended of the province of Navarre, preserves the ancient stone construction lines typical of antiquity, which leaves a picturesque landscape in which the natural is the priority.

Surrounded by nature, in Erratzu we can make trekking routes by a multitude of points but, if there is one to visit, it is its path in the form of a circle that leads to the Xorroxin waterfall.

Another area to visit, by proximity, is the step where the border with France is located, at a considerable altitude of the Alto de Izpegui.

The Cuevas de Zugarramurdi son, for the magic and the legends that are extracted from them, a magical area, just 400 meters from the area where this rural house is located, natural place and mystery are the perfect tandem that makes these caves a point of mass interest.

Finally, another of the nearby areas that can be visited is the Collegiate Church of Roncesvalles, which has been the roof under which to sleep of multitude of pilgrims, in its journey along the Camino de Santiago, for many centuries and which, today in day it is a point of Jacobean tourist interest.
