Castellar de Taniñe

Our cozy cottage has a style completely of the Soria province. Its imposing facade and the garden that surrounds it, make it a fabulous accommodation for a large group of friends or family who want to enjoy a few days in a rural , relaxed and with beautiful views.

As we enter the house we see a rectangular room of large dimensions that has several windows throughout its wall so the light is present virtually all day. Here we have the kitchen, the dining room and the living room:

• The kitchen has a wooden furniture in which all the appliances are perfectly integrated. It has everything enough so that you can cook for all the tenants of the house. In addition you have numerous utensils at your disposal.

• The dining room consists of a large table with chairs for everyone. Group meals are going to be the most entertaining.

• Finally the living room that has 2 blue sofas with a small wooden table and in the background the chimney of stone presiding over the whole stay. Next to her in a corner, the TV.

In the house there is a total of 6 rooms, 4 of them are with single beds and 2 with double beds. Decorated in a very elegant, they have matching wooden furniture. The bedside table, the headboard and a desk. Also in more than one bedroom you will find large closets with capacity so that everyone can store your clothes. The beds are ready with games sheets and blankets, this will allow you to rest as soon as you arrive if you wish.

There are 4 bathrooms, all of them complete and composed by a bathtub with curtain, by a washbasin and by the wc. They also have shelves to store your toiletries.

The main protagonist of the house is its exterior. A great garden in which to relax, spend funny times or simply contemplate the views. We have a picnic area with tables of stone. In addition there is a barbecue traditional brick. All in a very rustic and characteristic environment that will allow you to integrate perfectly.

The house also has a private parking so you can come in your own vehicle and then park very close to dispose of it when you need it.

Taniñe is a small town in Soria that is very close to San Pedro Manrique. It is part of the well-known route of the Icnitas that surrounds many of the municipalities of Soria. These are trails in which, in addition to contemplating the beautiful views of the landscape, you will discover the footprints of the dinosaurs that inhabited the area thousands of years ago.

In San Pedro Manrique you can learn a little more about the architecture of this area, thanks for example to the remaining arches of the town wall. We can also see the remains that remain of the Romanesque church of the XIII century, the church of San Miguel. Also of the XIII century is the hermitage of the Virgen de la Peña.

Another nice town that we can visit is Cornago. Although it is located in La Rioja, we are separated by only 15 kilometers. His castle and his parish form without a doubt a true monument beauty. They are located on top of a mountain so they have control of the entire village, from the visual point of view. During the Middle Ages it played an important defensive role.
