Cornatelia - Casa Mozárabe

Large rural hamlet located at Carracedelo, province of Leon.

It has been recently restored by dividing it into several accommodations with common areas, so that in addition to your privacy, you can also meet other guests. It has 3 types of accommodation, with very similar characteristics so you can choose where to stay according to your tastes and how best suits you.

The Mozárabe house, that is the name, has a special charm that reflects its facade. Once inside you discover its great amplitude thanks to the disposition of the furniture, which has been designed thinking about taking advantage of all the spaces and also, providing great functionality.

In the lower floor you will discover:

• A room with comfortable sofas that is attached to both the dining room and the kitchen. This allows the plant to be very wide and you have everything at your fingertips.

• The kitchen is equipped with appliances and with enough kitchenware.

• The dining room has a large table with chairs and a bench to eat all together.

• On this same floor we will find the 2 double rooms with bed marriage, each with her bathroom correspondiente.

Going up the grand staircase of the living room, we access the p lanta superior which is attic y that has:

• 2 triple bedrooms, with single beds. All are presented with all the furniture in perfect condition, a set of sheets and blankets for each bed, so you can rest perfectly.

• There is also 2 bathrooms in which you will also find towels for personal grooming.

In our village we want you to also enjoy the outdoor areas and that is why we have a huge garden, very green and with many flowers that make the tenants happy thanks to their color, being able to walk outdoors while you enjoy the views.

On the porch you will discover a beautiful metalized table in which to taste the food you cook on the barbecue, so that you can give yourself a treat on these holidays.

We are in the town of Carracedelo whose most important emblems are the Royal Palace and the Monastery of Santa María.

The latter is considered the most important of its time. Founded in the tenth century, although later reformed, it retains its original appearance, with the details of the current to which it belongs.

The mountains Aquilanos stand out for the number of streams that it has, the most important the Cabrera river.

Another obligatory excursion in this area is Las Médulas. It is an old gold mining, of Roman origin and whose excavations, although altered a bit the environment and nature, left us a gift for history and for the view, a landscape covered with reddish sand that is full of nature around you.
