Cortijo de la Media Luna

On the outskirts of Mojácar, in Almería, between the sea and the mountain and with impressive views of both, we find this beautiful farmhouse. It was restored by the owners from a state of ruin, conserving the palm tree that was growing then. Prepared to accommodate guests for short and long distances, for tourist trips or for the celebration of weddings and banquets, it does not lack anything that allows it to offer its customers the maximum comfort.

In total, it has space to house 18 occupants, in 3 different room types, which are adapted to the needs of the clients.

First, the cortijo has 4 double rooms, 2 of them with double bed and 2 with single beds ; It is also allowed to have 2 extra beds, to convert the rooms into triples.

It is a set of rooms with independent access and arranged around a private courtyard o, for use only by the tenants of these bedrooms. In the yard there is a kitchen of which you can make use, to have breakfast or prepare any dish in it.

The second type of bedroom is a double room superior, with capacity for 2 people in a double bed. This room, independent of the other double rooms, also has a terrace with sea views.

Finally, we have a room with kitchen, apartment type, occupied by 2 double beds for a total of 4 people. The private kitchen in this room is discreet but well-equipped, so that guests can prepare their own meals without having to leave the privacy of their room.

All the rooms have a series of services that are common to all of them. First of all, in all there is a television and access, so that entertainment and information are guaranteed for the duration of the stay.
In addition, each bedroom has its own private bathroom, well equipped and of appropriate size and with a batch of toiletries. Bedding is included for each bed, as well as towels. As furniture accessories, we also have a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine, to complete the breakfast.

Pets on the premises, although supplements may apply. In all the rooms there is X air conditioner, which guarantees a fresh and cozy atmosphere
Guests can enjoy many other services while using the facilities. The XX free parking area is first of all, from which all guests can take advantage. There is also a bar with a covered terrace, where in addition to serving breakfast they prepare various drinks.

To conclude, the cortijo has a covered pool, heated with solar energy, whose waters remain accessible every day of the year.

The farmhouse is one kilometer from Mojácar, a white town whose center is on the top of a hill, where the points of interest of the town are distributed: the Ermita de los Dolores, the Mirador del Castillo, and the Door of the Almedina, among many others. It is a charming and quiet town, whose steep streets do not pass the time.

At 800 meters there is the beach of La Parata, a beach with calm waters and multiple water activities in the surroundings.

In one hour we can reach the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar, and let its landscapes fascinate us. Its extension, its varied fauna and persistent plant life in an arid landscape make it extremely interesting in many ways. In addition to its impeccable beaches (such as the Genoveses) and curious municipalities (Níjar, Pozo de los Frailes, Agua Amarga), the Faro de Cabo de Gat a, located in a place that was used as a reference point, is especially interesting. both Phoenicians and Greeks, and which points out the dangerous Laja del Cabo, a reef that has caused many shipwrecks.

Almería, the capital, is 90 kilometers away, and it is a visit that should not be overlooked because, in addition to its wide range of leisure and sun and beach tourism, it has a broad historical context that endow it with a great artistic and architectural heritage, such as the Alcazaba, the cathedral and civil buildings that we discover while touring its streets.
