Cortijo El Carpintero

Our rural house is a cortijo located in the vicinity of Íllora in the Sierra de Parapanda surrounded by an oak forest. From the rural accommodation we get the view to Sierra Nevada.

The house is a single floor, with wooden ceilings and with capacity to accommodate up to 6 people.

The rooms that are available inside are: living room, kitchen, 3 rooms and 1 bathroom. Outside the house we find a porch, a pool, a park with swings and football tracks y basketball.

All rooms are double. 2 of them have separate separate layers, and the third has a double bed. The 3 are exterior, and can be attached 2 extra beds.

The living room has a wood fireplace. It has half the stone wall and the shelves are built with stone and wood. The living room also has television and DVD. In the center of the room there is a round glass table where all our guests have room.

The kitchen becomes independent from the living-dining room by means of an American bar built in stone. The decoration is in accordance with the rest of the house. It has refrigerator, ceramic hob, oven, between appliances and appliances like microwave or coffee machine. It includes the crockery and the menaje.

The bathroom is complete, has a cabinet under the sink, window and mirror, and shower tray with screen.

In the outside of the rural house we have a space of 6000 m2.

The porch has views of the pool, the mountain range and the oak forest. In it we find a seesaw and a wooden bench.

The pool is 11x5 m. Around it has zone solarium furnished with hammocks, chairs and a table. There is an artificial turf area. In this area we also find a covered barbecue made of stone and brick, which has an auxiliary table, also stone, next.

At the entrance of the house there is a pet house.

The rural accommodation has facilities such as basketball court and football, ping-pong table and a zone used as park infantil with swings.

The house is not in the town, but it is located 8 minutes from Íllora. Granada is 25 minutes away, and at an hour there are the beaches closer.

Within the town it is highly recommended to visit, while walking through its streets of great beauty and historical richness:

• The Church of the Incarnation, ancient Arab temple.
• The Arab castle of the century IX
• The Lookouts a the Sierra de la Parapanda and Sierra Nevada.

Íllora is a historic town, with cultural characters, routes.

If you intend to enjoy the gastronomy of the area you can not miss typical dishes such as porridge, or enjoy products of unbeatable quality such as the garden or olive oil.
