Cortijo El Castaño

In the heart of La Alpujarra Granada is the small town of Pitres, a charming little town on the outskirts of which our rural house is located.

The construction follows the traditional architecture of this picturesque region, where the line is white whitewashed facades, although in our case, it is also combined with a modern interior, but preserving details that continue to recall our origins.
The house can accommodate six people, and it is a highly recommended place for families, since it has exteriors where the little ones will enjoy in a big way, although we know that they will not be the only ones.
This area is located on two levels: next to the house, there is the terrace, of great amplitude and that has both garden furniture and a barbecue in which to prepare delicious meals, and also decorated with a small pond with little fish.

On the upper level is the pool, totally private and completely fenced to offer more security, and which, in turn, leads to the landscaped space with native trees such as olive or chestnut trees.

If we look at its interior , the rooms are distributed in a floor, which are:

• 1 dining room of great amplitude and original colors on the walls along with wooden floors in which we have a pair of comfortable sofas, a dining table with several chairs and also flat television. In addition, the kitchen, which is American, is integrated into this room with a bar and very well equipped y next to which is the wood fireplace.

• 3 double bedrooms that have double bed in two of them, while the remaining one houses two single beds along with a spacious wardrobe.

• 2 bathrooms, one more modern in style than the other with a shower tray.

Pets allowed, although a deposit of € 100 will have to be added.

Pitres is a municipality that belongs to La Taha, being a larger town within this group of villages.
Su urban area has different neighborhoods, all presenting the traditional architecture of La Alpujarra, and which congregate around the plaza of the town, a meeting place and where it is worth highlighting the XX church dedicated to San Rox2, with a certain Mudejar air and a high tower in which the bell tower is located.
In addition, in the same square there are different restaurants where you can check the delicious flavors of the most typical gastronomy.
