Cortijo Los Tomillares

This rural farmhouse is located in the heart of Vía de la Plata, a few minutes from a small town in Seville called Guadalcanal.

Due to its characteristics and possibilities it offers, this house is considered one of the best in Spain to go with children.
Built on a property of 4000 square meters, this Andalusian farmhouse invites you to enjoy a few days of relaxation with all kinds of comforts at your disposal.
With a total capacity for 23 people, the house is built in 3 floors.  Typical decoration of the area and a great role of wood.  A place made to go with the family, since the farm is designed so that children can enjoy it even more than adults. At the same time, it is also ideal to go with friends and enjoy a few days in good company.

The house offers you a multitude of activities spread across the different spaces of the farmhouse:

• A large living room - dining room, designed so that all the tenants can gather there without any space problem. 3 large armchairs surround a small glass table and are located in front of the fireplace, excellent for warming up on cold winter days. For lovers of cinema or audiovisual entertainment, the space has a flat television hanging on the wall to be seen from any point in the living room and the complete Canal + service, as well as different consoles. There are 2 wooden tables, one of which is larger, perfect for family meals, since next to it you can find a large closet that stores the necessary dishes for this type of gathering. The most characteristic component of the dining room is the pool table, a great entertainment to enjoy with friends. The room is completely illuminated due to its large sliding glass doors, which in addition to letting sunlight through the entire room, offer impressive views of the outdoor pool and the environment that surrounds the property. 

• The kitchen, fully equipped, is designed to be able to supply many people without any type of setback. Complete kitchenware at your disposal, in addition to paella pan and a large-capacity American barbecue that includes a lid. If you want to have a small party, the house has a bottle rack and mini-bar, ideal for storing soft drinks and the necessary food.

8 rooms in total, arranged on the 2 floors of the house:

• On the lower floor, suitable for people with reduced mobility, we find 4 of the rooms in the farmhouse. One of them is a suite with a double bed and a full bathroom inside. Another room also has a double bed and the rest of the rooms on the ground floor are made up of 2 single beds in each of them. 

• On the upper floor, the rest of the rooms are located, one of them is considered as suite, due to its size, it is composed of a double bed, interior bathroom and access to the terrace. Another of the bedrooms on the floor is double and has 2 double beds. The remaining rooms on the upper floor are made up of a double bed inside. A closet in each of the bedrooms so that guests can store all their belongings. 

We also put at your disposal 5 inflatable mattresses. In addition, all bedrooms have mosquito nets and mosquito elimination systems.

• 4 full bathrooms and fully equipped. 2 of them are located in each of the suites on both floors and the remaining 2 bathrooms are each located on one floor and are for shared use with the rest of the rooms. 

There is still one more floor to discover, the basement, one of the most charming rooms in the house because it is intended for total entertainment and fun. Inside there is a ping-pong table and 2 foosball tables, perfect games for competitions with family or friends. At the same time, if there are children among the guests and they are lovers of sports on wheels, a few BMX bicycles are also placed in this room and can be used without any additional cost.

The exterior of the farmhouse shows the added value of the house:

• 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, perfect for the hot days of the year. The adult pool is located right at the exit of the house, in fact from 2 of the rooms on the lower floor there is direct access to it. 

• A large terrace of 20 square meters located on the upper floor and has access from 2 rooms on the same floor.

• A picnic area in one part of the farm, for those days of barbecue or outdoor food.

• A elastic bed with a diameter of 4 meters designed for the total fun of the little ones.

• Small farm, so it is not difficult to see animals walking around the farm. It is, without a doubt, one of the greatest entertainments for both children and adults.

A few minutes from the farm is the town of Guadalcanal, located in the northern area of ​​the province of Seville. 
It is the ideal place to enjoy the typical gastronomy of the land, as it has several restaurants. The Parish, the Church or the civil monument La Almona are the most notable monuments of the place. 

100 kilometers from the farm we find one of the most beautiful cities in southern Spain, Seville. It is advisable to visit in the not very hot seasons of the year due to the high temperatures of the city in summer. 

The Cathedral of Seville is one of the most visited monuments by tourists. At 104 meters high and in the same location as the Cathedral, because it is its bell tower, is La Giralda. But the essence of this wonderful city is not only its monuments, the climate, its food and the good humor of its inhabitants are another of the elements that elevate the city to the category of perfect.
