Cortijo Pesquera

Cortijo Pesquera, located opposite the Pesquera River, is a rural accommodation en Algarinejo (Granada), in the region of Loja. The house is enabled for use by a maximum of 8 people.

This large construction of stone autochthonous is divided into 2 floors and is distributed as follows:

Ground floor: perfectly adapted to people with reduced mobility, it has 1 bedroom with double bed and stone shelves, 1 large living room with fireplace and plasma TV with satellite and Canal +, a unique space for the kitchen and dining room with oven , microwave, ceramic hob and blender, toaster, etc. and 1 bathroom fully equipped for people with mobility problems. The washbasin of the toilet is very unique since it is dug in 's own stone de the mountain.

The upper floor has 3 rooms double with large windows that will allow the entrance of much natural light.

Outside, the house has the following services / facilities:

• Large paved patio
• outdoor pool and sunbathing area.
• Zone with barbecue (firewood for a small additional cost) and outdoor table with benches.
• Fourth intended for the laundry.
• Private parking.

This old house, designed to relax and enjoy a natural environment, preserves the stone walls, its main material, and has a very unique decoration: fossils insects, fern branches or leaves embedded in the walls.

Algarinejo is a town in Granada that has great value from a historical point of view thanks to monuments like the ones listed below:

• Church Santa María La Mayor, built by the famous architect Ventura Rodríguez.
• Bridge of the Morales, built in the XII century, next to a public square with a fountain from the same period, also preserved today.

The area is also of remarkable natural value for the sites of Zurreón de las Llanadas, a beautiful waterfall, or the Cultural Park Cesna, not only of natural interest, but also of historical and ethnological interest.
