Duquesa de la Conquista

It is a 2-storey rural house located in the Vega de Santa Maria, a small municipality belonging to the province of Avila, which has capacity for hospedar to 8-10 people since it has 4 double bedrooms (plus 2 extra beds) .

The Duchess of Conquest, with central heating and decorated in classic style, has the following on the ground floor:

• Living room with television, DVD, movies and board games
• Fully equipped kitchen with large table
• 2 double rooms (one with a double bed and the other with single beds)
• 1 bathroom with shower

On the upper floor, with partially sloped ceilings, there are 2 triple rooms with their own bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bathtub). Both bedrooms have beautiful views of the town and the Castilian fields.

This house is ideal to go with family with children as it has a pool for the little ones and the rent includes pony ride and visit to his farm with chickens, rabbits and peacocks, among other birds. They also put a crib at your disposal, if necessary.

It has a large stone patio where you can sunbathe and prepare a delicious meal using the large barbecue that is located in a covered area to protect from the sun.

And if you prefer that they cook for you and you love the Castilian gastronomy, you can hire the tasting, in the same house, of two of the most typical dishes of the region: suckling pig or lamb roasted in a wood-burning oven, accompanied by baked potatoes. You can also buy sweets and legumes from the area if you wish.

In Vega de Santa María, agricultural region of La Moraña, you can visit the church of Nuetra Señora de la Asunción (at the entrance of the town), the hermitage, the palace of the Duchess of Conquest and the typical Castilian houses , all in a very quiet and rural environment.

Ávila capital is located just 20 minutes by car (south) from the rural house, so if you still do not know this amazing walled city, you can not miss it.

If you are going to stay several days, it is also worth visiting one of the most important towns in this region: Madrigal de las Altas Torres (45 min north), where Isabel the Catholic was born.
