El Arco de la Espiga

The rural accommodation that we show here is located in the Alicante municipality of Catral, belonging to the Vega Baja del Segura. Its construction only dates back to one years ago, although in it we have been files the architectural style of the area.

The maximum capacity of the rural house is 12 people, who will be distributed among the 5 double rooms which we have and the 2 supplementary beds to include if necessary in any of them.

Inside the accommodation we have a large room that is equipped with comfortable sofas with the capacity to host a large group. And for when the cold tightens you will have available a small stove with which to heat the room.

The kitchen has been duly conditioned and equipped to make it comfortable and functional. In it you will find the entire household and appliances that you need. It has been decorated with a beautiful tile mosaic and has a island as a countertop.

On the other hand, the rooms have a simple decoration, the main element being the wide marriage bed, which in some of the cases has canopy. All of them are heated, they have a closet and their own bathroom, one of the most distinctive and curious places in the house for its design. Of them, in addition, 2 have jacuzzi.

Also in this ample space there is a porch with barbecue in which to prepare barbecue between friends and a space for the little ones, with swings and other games. We also have a ecological garden available.

Catral is positioned as the entrance of the Vega Baja region of the Safe. Here we can accompany the river in its crossing through Vegas, orchards and ancient mills that took advantage of its waters.

In the position, the Church of the Saints Juanes is highlighted, built following the Baroque style. Its origins are Visigoths, although subsequently the Arabs transformed it into a mosque and with the reconquest returned to its first origins.

We are about 15 kilometers from Orihuela and Torrevieja, so our closeness to its beaches is insured.
