El Arrayán

In the quiet surroundings of the I Valley of Benizar, in Murcia, we find this rural house, in a fenced enclosure with other houses and facilities. It is in a fantastic location, in the town of Benizar itself and with excellent views of the mountains and surrounding fields.

We have a maximum capacity of 6 guests in the house, divided between 3 bedrooms: one with a double bed and 2 with 2 single beds. The bedrooms are well lit, with bedding and furnished so that there is no need to leave clothes and luggage.

We will look for time to spend it in the room of the house. It is a homely, family stay, with good lighting and rustic furniture. Highlights a brick fireplace, next to the flat screen TV y opposite a suggestive sofa. On one side we have the dining table, solid and dark wood, excellent for meals.

The kitchen has been opened to the living room, and has all your appliances and workspace skilfully distributed along a wall, under a discreet window. It does not lack anything, not even a microwave, and also has a washing machine, to keep clothes clean during long stays, for which it is not worth loading the suitcase too much.

We need to mention the bathroom, with shower and window to the outside, which ensures proper ventilation.

The house has a small outdoor terrace, ideal to enjoy talks or meals outdoors, contemplating the facilities of the complex.

Inside the enclosure we can make use of the large parking area, paved and well configured to house as many vehicles as possible. We can then spend the tours del complex, to find us on our way with fountains and trees.

If we want to enjoy a meal made to the barbecue, there is a special area that will satisfy this whim. Nearby we have outdoor tables and a playground under a pergola; We found here a pingpong table, a foosball and a trampoline. Behind, an extension of grass acts as football field.

We do not get tired of sports activities. We add a field of minigolf, with several holes, and a pool, with sun loungers and covered resting area.

If we prefer to spend time indoors, it should be noted that we also have a large lounge with digital television and a small kitchen, where large groups can meet for lunch, play or chat, and ultimately, enjoy what this accommodation offers.

The region of Benizar is rich in mountainous landscapes, chasms and cliffs. It is surrounded by the rocky massifs of the Castle and the Calar, and in the most fruitful regions, olive and almond trees grow and springs are born.

Within the locality, we can not stop visiting the castle, dated in the XII century, and the different monuments of the town, like the Fresh Fountain and the Fountain of Arriba.

In the vicinity we have the I shelters of Benizar and the Corner of the Caves, with historical examples of Levantine style rock painting.

We leave Benizar and go to Moratalla, a neighboring town also surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and enclaves of archaeological interest, such as the site of Bagil, late Chalcolithic.

Caravaca de la Cruz is another mandatory visit to the area. This holy city houses numerous religious buildings and museums that catalog the history of the region. In the vicinity we have the Begastri Iberian site and the Black Cave, from which remains and tools have been extracted that clarify what the life of the first inhabitants of the region was like.
