El arroyo de la Plata II

The rural house is located in La Calzada de Béjar, a municipality of Salamanca located in the mountains and bordering Cáceres. It is the second accommodation of the El Arroyo de la Plata complex.

It has many years of history that are demonstrated in its main facade. Stone almost uncut in the bottom and with a top balcony in which you can see the structures and wooden beams with which it was made once.

are 2 floors where 3 bedrooms are distributed. One white with twin beds together, a chest of drawers with an antique mirror and a small terrace facing the façade. Another rose with also 2 single beds, with sloping ceilings and a bathroom of its own.

And the third with a single single bed and decorated for children by its walls painted with drawings. In addition, we offer the possibility of adding a crib to any of these 3 bedrooms. This is a rural accommodation to accommodate 5 people.

The living room is on the ground floor and has a very modern furniture. Although part of the walls can still be seen with stone. It has a main sofa, 2 armchairs and a television. From there you access the upper floor through spiral stairs.

For its part, the kitchen has its furniture covered with curtains, as in the past, and has appliances as a plate, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine, among others. Also, in this space is the dining table.

It has no outdoor patio, but at the entrance the upper balcony forms a porch spice where also has a well that is now in disuse.

If this space is insufficient, very close you can enjoy another house of our property in which you can stay up to 8 people.

The Béjar Causeway is the perfect place from which to start to make different routes through the mountains and to visit places with different charms. It consists of just over 100 inhabitants, so despite being in the town center of it, it has guaranteed tranquility.

Approaching Béjar we can visit places like:

• The palace where the Dukes of Béjar and the Italian garden of the Renaissance type lived that they ordered to build in the 16th century. Being one of the few that there is currently in Spain.
• The XIII century church of San Juan Bautista with Romanesque style.
• The one of Santiago, also known as La Antigua for being the first to be built, in XII. Housing a museum of sacred art today.

Also, at a very short distance you can find the ski resort of Sierra de Béjar.
