El Cahorzo

Cahorzo is a beautiful rural house located in Cardeñosa, a quiet town in the province of Ávila, located only 12 km from the capital, fully built by its owner Miguel. 

It is a new construction of 2 plants, with capacity for 8 people, composed of 4 rooms (two with double beds and two with individual beds) and 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub on the upper floor and another with shower). 

It is a very cozy house with oak and stone wood, decorated with pleasure, and consists of the following:

• 30 m² living room with fireplace (enclosed oak firewood) and small terrace
• Beautiful wooden dining table with glass cover, next to the window
• Television and music team
• Central heating
• Fully equipped kitchen with steel appliances and brick vaulted roof
• Very wide stone patio with barbecue work

All bedrooms have embedded cabinets and stage soils to give them the warmth of a house.  One of the rooms on the top floor also has a small terrace.

In winter the house will be perfectly conditioned for the time you arrive, inluctioning a small detail of its owners: bottle of wine and homemade muffins.

The house is located in Cardeñosa, a quiet Abulese town of less than 1,000 inhabitants nestled in an area of ​​granite quarries. The so -called "Calvary" or "the three crosses", next to the hermitage stands out as a monument. 

It is worth visiting the Cogotas, an archaeological site with more than 2,000 years old, where the Vetones, a Celtic town settled. It is divided into the Cogotas I (Bronze Age) and Las Cogotas II (Iron Age), and it is worth highlighting the Castro .

The Church of Santa Cruz de Cardeñosa, from the end of the s. XV and early 16th and the hermitage of the Berrocal, in the upper part of the people. 

The most important urban core is Ávila Capital, located about 23 minutes approx. of El Cahorzo, famous for its wall, its cathedral and the Plaza de Santa Teresa - among other historical monuments - where you can buy the well -known yolks of Santa Teresa.
