El Castañar de Aracena

Casa Rural Aracena is located at Sierra de Aracena.

It has the Ecological Certification, granted by the Andalusian Committee of Ecological Agriculture, which means that the environment must be respected.

Perfect for large groups, where up to 12 people can be accommodated. You can go with family, friends or even for business meetings.

It has 2 double rooms, 2 double rooms with single beds and a large loft for another 4 people. There are 4 bathrooms, 3 of them inside the rooms.
In the outdoor , a salt water pool that can be heated. In the garden area you can enjoy a barbecue or an area of ​​ swings. It also has covered parking for two cars.
The decoration is totally rural , wooden floors and beams, stone facade and fireplace in the living room. Although at first it may seem something too modern, we can discover that our accommodation is very cozy .

It is decorated with paintings by Alicia Zulategui that guests can enjoy throughout their stay.
The heating is individual for each room and there is air conditioning in summer.
In the great room of 50 square meters we can find a library, digital equipment such as DVD, 42-inch television, a mini-chain and board games so that you do not have moments of boredom. In addition, it has a wifi network.

The house has a special outdoor area: a 15 hectare plot where we can walk in the shade of the chestnut trees that crowd the farm. In the same way, you can collect mushrooms in autumn or even see wonderful sunsets at the top of the farm.
In addition, the entire estate is walled with a stone construction from the area. The typical materials have also been used for the wood that decorates the floor or the beams, which is chestnut or the roof tiles, decorated in the Arabic style, which are made of clay.
Being such a wonderful environment, our house has also been used to do photo shoots.

This rural accommodation includes:

Animals are not allowed

Located in the Natural Park of the Sierra de Aracena, where you can do different outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking, etc. and take a bath in the pools of rivers or swamps that we find in the forest.

• The Rio Tinto mines. The economy of this town has always been based on the extraction of minerals, hence the mines. The Rio Tinto is a river with a pink color. • ham dryers. Since ham is the most typical of this area, we can see how they dry, one of the parts of the process to do it. • cattle ranches porcina where we can see how pigs are raised to make ham.

It also has an abundant vegetation such as cork oaks, holm oaks and, of course, large chestnut forests.
And not only the flora, but also the fauna, such as golden eagles, lynxes, or storks.
And of course enjoy the typical gastronomy: the j amón de Jabugo and the mushrooms of the season
