El Castaño

In the heart of Sierra Norte de Sevilla, just 2 kilometers from the town of El Pedroso, we find this charming country house. They hide cork oaks and oaks, and their soundtrack is the murmur of the beautiful stream of Las Cañas.

The rural house that concerns us is inserted in a farm, along with 3 other houses. It has a rustic style that is impossible to miss, as it is reflected both in the traditional architecture, typical of a village house, and in the decoration that has been used in the interior, where farming implements, ceramics and wood predominate. that supports the roof beams.

The house is designed to accommodate 8 people, but can be consulted if you want to include one more, up to 9. It has 3 large rooms on the top floor. One has a double bed; another, double bed and one single of 90; the last one is a larger room, where we find 4 single beds of 90.

On the ground floor we have the main room, dominated by the room, which occupies a large space with its three sofas, the television and the wood fireplace ; As an additional detail, the ceiling lamp has fan.

The dining area is right behind the living room, and it is made up of a wide and solid wooden table and several chairs that surround it. In the headboard we have an old-style, beautiful cupboard, supporting the crockery.

Apart in its own space we have the kitchen, open and with breakfast island; it is a traditional kitchen but with modern equipment, which includes a refrigerator with freezer and an industrial wine rack
We have 2 bathrooms in the house, one on each floor: the one on the lower floor with shower and the one on the upper floor, with a bathtub. You can request towels or not require them.

In the whole house there are radiators, to keep it warm and cozy. In addition, is supplied with firewood every day for a reasonable fee.

Outside we find a large garden , in which a XVIII century pool has been restored to serve as a pool. In the trees that populate the surroundings of the house there are installed swings, to enjoy the leisure in full nature. In addition, you can see native animals of the owners farm, which will be a natural spectacle when you walk around the house.

We are located in the Natural Park of Sierra del Norte, part of the Biosphere Reserve Dehesas Sierra Morena, along with the Natural Park of the Sierra de Hornachuelos. Its main attraction is the Cerro del Hierro, a mining exploitation of Roman times, currently enabled for climbing and hiking. In its term is a lot of rural places. Of great scenic interest is also the Huéznar River, both for its birth and for its waterfalls, which create beautiful places.

El Pedroso is a charming town, surrounded by dehesas and groves, ideal for nature lovers. Among its architectural heritage, the Cruz del Humilladero and the church of Our Lady of Consolation stand out, a solid construction of Gothic-Mudejar style.

Constantina is located a few kilometers east of El Pedroso. The various civilizations that have passed through it have left their mark on the architecture of the place, as evidenced by the fact that a large part of the town has been declared X
To the north we find Cazalla de la Sierra, which adds to its status as a protected space its architectural assets and its Greenways, in addition to the Caves of Santiago, which house tombs and archaeological remains of the Neolithic and Chalcolithic.
