El Corral del Cura

El rural accommodation El Corral del Cura se located in the small town of Avila de La Aldehuela. It was raised there by the s. XIX and from then still retains part of its original structure as the stone in interior walls and facade and the wood in ceilings and some doors. They have also preserved some tools that today have become part of the decoration of the house.

From this same structure, 2 independent houses have been built; the one that we comment here and The Rincón del Cura. Both have similar characteristics and capacity. They are part of the complex called La Casita del Cura.

This cottage the form 2 floors in which comfortably can be unas 4 people, but can extend up to 5 thanks to an extra bed with which we have.

The 2 bedrooms double are located on the top floor. Both are for two people and have a bathroom inside. One has a large double bed and another with singles. One of these bedrooms also shows the brick by its walls.

The first floor houses the areas that all guests can share and enjoy. It is the kitchen, which is also a dining room and is well equipped, and the living room with reading area, television and fireplace.

In addition, outside lies a courtyard whose walls also preserve the stone and which has instalado a barbecue y a dining table.

You will have available both heating la as firewood for barbecue and fireplace.

La Aldehuela is located within the region of El Barco de Ávila-Piedrahita. Belonging precisely to the province of Ávila, although also very within reach of the provinces of Cáceres and Salamanca.

But especially is close to the Regional Park of the Sierra de Gredos, a protected place where the oaks, the rebollos and the pines and of predominate among its flora El Barco de Ávila, a beautiful village of Avila on the banks of the River Tormes.
