Carrascal del Río is a small Segovian town of 162 inhabitants located within the limits of the P Natural archeological site of Las Hoces del Río Duratón, very close to the reservoir of Burgomillodo. This reservoir was formed in 1929 with the construction of the dam, extends over an area of 132 hectares and is the ideal place to bathe and take boat trips.
The natural park, stands out for the large canyons that form the Duratón a its passage and for the colony of vultures established in the walls of these guns.
