El Mirador de la Reina

Located in the medieval city of Olite, this house is ideal to spend a few days in this town surrounded by the medieval charm that transmits and, depending on the time, enjoying the festivals and medieval markets that are organized in it.

The house is located in the urban center of the village, in a multi-storey building.

It can hold a maximum of 13 people and consists of:

• 5 large bedrooms, one of them individual, another with 3 beds, 2 furnished with beds marriage and the remaining equipped with 2 single beds. In addition, the house admits up to 3 extra beds.

• 2 bathrooms complete and equipped with bathtub.

• A kitchen decorated in black and white fully equipped so that the guest can comfortably perform household chores. Among this kit are a microwave and a washing machine.

• A dining room equipped with a large table for eating as a family, a fireplace to temper the temperature of the room and a library to relax with a book.

• A lounge furnished with comfortable sofas in which to relax while watching a movie on the television.

• A small patio interior with barbecue to cook excellent grills.

• A terrace furnished to be able to sunbathe and savor succulent meals outdoors.

Olite is a city located in the south center of Navarra. The city had its apogee in medieval times, when the town proper was founded, although remains of Roman houses and walls have been found around this city. Having been the Middle Ages the splendor of this city, since it was chosen as a place of residence by the Kings of Navarre, it is currently held in various markets and medieval festivals during the year.

The city is completed by the Palace of the Kings of Navarre, which began to build in the thirteenth century, but continued in construction until the XV, so its towers have different architectural styles. Although it has parts destined to the defense of the city, such as the t orre of the homage, the Palace was built mainly as a royal residence.

Among the dependencies of this house, the gardens and the gallery of the queen stand out because they are surrounded by arcades decorated with exquisite filigree. The gardens, in addition, were populated in their time with exotic plants brought from other places. The palace also has a ice box, symbol of the scientific advance of this building in its time.
