El Molino de Foz Calanda

Located in the small village of Foz Calanda, this country house is ideal to spend a weekend in the countryside with family or friends enjoying the magnificent surroundings that surround this peaceful place.

The house is an old building made of stone and wood in which the oil mill and cereal are still preserved, as well as the original hydraulic tile floors that give the house a particular charm.

This house can house up to 9 people and is divided into the following stays:

• 5 bedrooms, 2 of them with 2 single beds and the other 3 furnished with a single bed each. In addition, can be added to extra beds that expand the capacity of the house.

• 2 bathrooms, both equipped with hairdryer, towels and hand soap for the comfort of the guests.

• A kitchen fully equipped with everything necessary so that guests can comfortably perform domestic chores. Between these apparatuses a washer is included to facilitate the laundry.

• A living room to relax and relax in front of the television after a day of visits and excursions around the environment.

• A spacious terrace furnished in which to enjoy breakfast and meals outdoors while contemplating the views of the environment.

• A old wood oven still in operation that will allow guests to make succulent roasts, as well as heat the house.

With a population of 299 inhabitants, the Teruel town of Foz-Calanda is one of the small towns located east of the province. Around this town have been numerous signs that show the existence of Iberian settlements in this area. To the outskirts of this town is the Val de la Piedra, a rocky valley where different excursions can be made.

Very close to this town is Alcañiz, the capital of the region of Bajo Aragón. In this city you can find points of interest such as the church of Santa María la Mayor, an old collegiate church with 18th-century Baroque façade, or numerous palatial mansions from the 18th century with facades from the late Renaissance that make the historic center have a special color .

On the outskirts of this city is Motorland, a city dedicated to the engine that has several circuits for cars, among which are a road course and a kart circuit. Not far away is the Val del Charco del Agua Amarga, where several cave paintings that are declared world heritage are preserved.
