El Paller de l´Albera

Our rural house is a traditional peasant home located in the small town of Girona Rabós. Completely independent, the house is located in the upper part of the municipality, so the views of the Alt Empordà are spectacular.

Despite having recently been restored, it retains the typical character of the Catalan countryside constructions, characterized by its thick stone walls and wooden beam ceilings.

It is perfectly equipped for summer and winter to have heating and air conditioning.

It has a capacity for 4 people. The families that visit us with babies will not have to worry, because the house has trona and cradle to facilitate the stay.

Cozy corners with a sober and careful decoration in which nothing is missing. The 2 bedrooms have a double bed and incorporate the bathroom inside, both.

The kitchen is equipped with all the household appliances and necessary household items. It is a coquettish space and separated from the dining room by an American bar. In it you will find a table with stools, a sofa and a wood stove that will serve to warm the stay.

The exterior is a private space whose dimensions will allow them to park the vehicle. In the summer months the barbecue and the pool in the garden will be the best option to enjoy the house in the best company.

Our respect for nature led us to incorporate next to the house a garden and a small corral with chickens in which visitors can participate in the collection of eggs and different agricultural tasks.

An incomparable spot in the center of Rabòs d'Emporda: on the mountainside, bathed by the River Orlina and with the Sierra de la Albera at the bottom.

The possibilities of leisure are diverse:

• Those looking for an indoor tourism 15 km away will find Figueres.
• But if what you are looking for is to refresh yourself, in the Costa Brava Beaches you can do it, for example in Sa Figuera or in Cala Fredosa, easy to access.
• For those looking for shallow and calm waters we recommend you go to the Parque de Cabo de Creus.
