El Palomar

The rural house is located in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia, which, as its name indicates, belongs to the Murcia lands.

It is an ancient Palomar, hence its name, which we wanted to restore to make it a space that has all the comforts to accommodate you with everything of detail. 

It is presented as a tower, whose facade in a reddish tone is seen from the most natural areas that surround it, since it is far from the urban area. It consists of several plants, conditioned to accommodate a maximum of 5 people who will undoubtedly feel like in their own home.

The stays are distributed as follows:

• a dining room, located in what was formerly a cave and that today is presented as one of the preferred meeting spaces by those who visit us. It consists of a wooden table, very robust and chairs of the same material. It will be here where the typical dishes of Murcia are tasted.

• a lounge, perfectly prepared for the break in which we have included several sofas, specifically 3, which form a "U", surrounding the wooden auxiliary table and all of them oriented to the television. Especially the space, the wooden lined ceilings crown, just like the ground, which gives a very pleasant rustic touch. Finally, and to heat the house when it is very cold, there is a firewood fireplace for which we include the trunks that fan the fire. It is a very bright room, since on one of its walls, in which you can see the stone, a great window is opened that lets the natural light pass to this pleasant stay.

• a kitchen that we have decorated with a white and blue tile front and that is elongated. In their furniture, all in the lower part, you will find the utensils you need for this stay, which is equipped in terms of appliances. Another essential components in this kitchen is the snail staircase, where the upper plants are accessed.

• a bathroom perfectly decorated and careful all its details. With a sink furniture lined with orange tiles, which combines perfectly with the pile tone. You will find here the bathtub, the mirror and the other toilets. We include for your comfort, towel games.

• 2 bedrooms of which; One is the marriage , and is found in the highest part of the house. It consists of wooden roofs and floors and the bedding is included; In addition a wooden closet will be very useful for keeping clothes. The other bedroom, at the bottom, has 3 individual beds in which headboards are especially striking. The walls, in green, provide warmth and comfort.

Alhama de Murcia is the Murcian municipality where our rural accommodation is located.

As for the natural environment, mountains are combined from which to observe the plain areas where the vinical production fields proliferate, which is tradition in the area.

The Sierra de Espuña, which stands on this municipality, is one of the areas where to make hiking routes to walk through the profile of this area of ​​Spain. Highlights here the coexistence between the fauna and flora species that grow in these lands.

As for the most cultural part, there are different monuments to see; All of them with a special charm that is given by the ancient Muslim communities that inhabited the southern zone and of which some elements are preserved; Proof of this is the Alhama Castillo, located in one of the highest parts of the relief and that, once it worked as a strategic point of wall with the kingdom of Granada.
