El Palomar

This rural accommodation is located in the town of Granatula de Calatrava, from Ciudad Real. All their stays demonstrate their years of history through architecture, furniture, tiles and decoration. We have proceeded to its restoration not long ago, although retaining all these elements that make it unique and peculiar.

It has space to welcome 10 people. and so that they can stay comfortably will have 4 bedrooms, in which you will find marriage beds, in 3 of them, and individual in the other 4

For personal toilet they will have 3 bathrooms that will be distributed throughout the house and have all their toilets.

The most modern touch is provided by the kitchen when having the appliances that will surely make the stay much easier, both to prepare food and to wash clothes, since you will also find washing machine. Despite this equipment, it does not set aside its appearance and rural style. In it you are also able to have breakfast or coffee, because for this we have arranged a table.

Apart there is a saloncito in which to be with yours chatting or watching the television. As well as a dining table much broader, and where in addition to a chimney that will heal the stay there is a battery so you do not have to move to the kitchen.

There are several interior and exterior courtyards in which you can take the fresh air, in which for example you will see a well, vegetation and furniture on a totally cobbled floor and that contrasts with the blue and white of the facade.

For the landscaped areas you will find a pool that will be available during the summer months. And close a barbecue where to prepare those rich barbecue, also a great plan for the summer. We keep in this area a gigantic palomar, that we maintain in perfect condition.

Calatrava Granátula is located in the Ciudad Real Central Zone and has about 800 inhabitants. Formed in a valley and with the presence of different volcanic formations. Precisely its urban center is inside what the crater was. 

From here highlight the archaeological deposits, specifically 2, that of the enchanted, for which you can still see the walls and some of its homes; and that of Oreto and Zuqueca, of the Middle Ages. 

Other historical constructions that remain in the town are for example a Roman Bridge that was built in the 1st century, a hermitage in Hornor to the Virgin of Oreto and Zuqueca, of the XIII, or the church of Santa Ana, of 3 centuries later.
