El Palomar

This rural accommodation is located in the town of Granatula De Calatrava , Ciudad Real. All its rooms show its years of history through architecture, furniture, tiles and decoration. We have proceeded to its restoration not long ago, although preserving all these elements that make it unique and peculiar .

It has space to accommodate 10 people. Y so that they can stay comfortably, they will have 4 rooms , in which you will find double beds, in 3 of them, and individual beds in the other 4

For personal hygiene they will have 3 bathrooms that will be distributed throughout the house and that have all their toilets.
The most modern touch is provided by the kitchen by having the appliances that will surely make your stay much easier, both for preparing food and washing clothes, since you will also find washing machine in it. Despite this kit, he does not neglect his appearance and country style. In it you will also be able to have breakfast or coffee, because for this we have arranged a small table.
Besides, there is a living room where you can be with your loved ones, chatting or watching television. As well as a much larger dining table , and where in addition to a fireplace that will air-condition the room there is a sink so that you do not have to move to the kitchen.
There are several interior and exterior patios where you can take the fresh air, in which for example you will see a well, vegetation and furniture on a totally paved floor that contrasts with the blue and white façade.
Through the outdoor garden areas you will find a pool that will be available during the summer months. And nearby a barbecue where to prepare those delicious grills, also a great plan for the summer season. We conserve in this area a gigantic dovecote, that we keep in perfect condition.

Granátula de Calatrava is located in the downtown area of ​​Ciudad Real and has about 800 inhabitants. Formed in a valley and with the presence of different volcanic formations . Precisely its urban area is located inside what was the crater.

From this stand out the archaeological sites , specifically 2, that of La Encantada, through which the walls and some of its houses can still be seen; and that of Oreto and Zuqueca, from the Middle Ages.

Other historical constructions that remain in the town are, for example, a Roman bridge that was built in the first century, a hermitage in honor of the Virgin of Oreto and Zuqueca, from the XIII, or the church of Santa Ana , 3 centuries later.
