El Palomar de la Cuesta

We present you our rural house which is located in the town of Lerma, at Burgos. The house has many years and that is why we have tried to rehabilitate it as much as possible so that the result is a cozy accommodation.

Divided into different floors, each of the rooms throughout the house has a modern and careful decoration with some detail of rustic style that turns every corner of the house into something unique.

On the ground floor of the house we find a beautiful and colorful kitchen in red tones with tiles of varied colors, all very striking. Brings a lot of joy to this area of ​​the house. Along with all the appliances you will find a wide variety of items that will be very useful when cooking.

A American bar introduces us to a large dining table with capacity for all the inhabitants of the house. Next we have the living room. With various sofas around a fireplace and the TV, the brick walls give a perfect air to this estancia.

A total of 4 rooms make up the rest area:

• 3 of them have 2 single beds. They are decorated in various colors such as lilac, green or pink. The sheets and blankets are already ready on the beds upon your arrival. In each bedroom you will find enough space to place your belongings.

• One bedroom has double bed and is decorated in a more formal way. With green walls and furniture in dark wood, it has a very elegant touch.

Note that the rooms that are on the top floor of the house have sloping roof where light enters and also have air conditioning if it could be very hot in summer.

There is a toilet on the ground floor and 2 full bathrooms, one per floor. This makes it much easier to distribute the moment of cleanliness among all the inhabitants of the house.

Our accommodation has a courtyard outside muy cool that summer delights all the inhabitants. It has a barbecue and a paella pan that give a lot of game when preparing delicious meals for everyone.

Lerma is a beautiful villa in the province of Burgos. It has one of the largest major squares in Spain with a very perfect structure.

To access the old town you have to do it through the famous Arc de la Cárcel, door of the wall. Among all its religious architecture we highlight the Collegiate Church of San Pedro or the Convent of San Blas, which began to be built in 1613 and is next to the Doge's Palace. Precisely the Palace Ducal is located on a side of the Plaza Mayor.

Lerma is part of the call triangle of Arlanza also formed by the towns of Silos and Covarrubias. In the first one you can visit its famous monastery dating from the seventh century, it disappeared for a time due to the Muslim occupation but later it resurfaced in a moment of great splendor. Covarrubias is known as the cradle of Castile and all its streets and facades are in perfect condition.
