El Soluco

The house is located in the town of Cohicillos , in the middle of the Cantabrian mountainous nature. It has capacity for a maximum of 8 people in 4 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms . It is built with stone and wood.
The bedrooms are distributed in a bedroom of marriage , another double bedroom and a triple bedroom. The house is adapted for disabled including one of its bathrooms. The house is decorated in a very careful country style . We offer a towel set for all of our guests.
The double bedroom has an attic and has a fully dressed bed with a couple of nightstands on each side. The large window allows a lot of light to enter the room. is clearly visible, the wood that supports the ceiling and the beams that make it up, which increases the feeling of being in a different place. The room has a wardrobe and wooden tables to increase comfort.
The double room has 2 single beds fully dressed with a bedside table and its lamp. Guests enjoy a built-in wardrobe .

The living room has a living room-dining room complete with a couple of sofas and chairs, an ideal space for a chat with family or friends. They can enjoy television and the whole house also has heating; essential for the rainy winters of the area. To make the stay more enjoyable, we have a collection of games. The dining room has a wooden table with capacity for 8 people. There is also a children's space for the little ones to enjoy.
The kitchen is also complete , it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Including microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, freezer, fridge, hob, washing machine and other useful utensils to be comfortable.
Outside the house we have a covered barbecue and a terrace where you can spend the afternoons and eat in peace. We have a parking area and information on the activities carried out in the area, as well as the sale of local products. Access to the house is paved and signposted.

The activities that can be practiced in the area include bicycle rides, the hiking trails and the observation of the fauna and flora of the area. In addition, other active tourism activities that can be carried out are the routes in BTT , paintball, rafting, etc. Thanks to the particular climate of the area, the collection of cherries, apples, chestnuts or hazelnuts is very popular.
On the mountain of Cotorredondo is the Pozo de la Nieve, from where you can see the entire area thanks to its spectacular views. The Romanesque Church of Santa María del Yermo is less than 2 kilometers from the house.
By car you can access within walking distance to Cabarceno Parque de la Naturaleza , San Vicente de la Barquera, Reinosa or Laredo.
You can visit the mansions and palaces from the 17th to the 19th centuries, as well as various religious and civil monuments and contemporary sculptures that show the importance of the town. The town of Monte Fresneda is very picturesque thanks to its Roman-style road.
Nearby you can access larger towns such as Santander , Santillana del Mar or Suances.
