El Zarzo

In the quiet town of source wrapped, in the province of Huelva is our vacation accommodation. A traditional house surrounded by chestnut forests and holm oaks, which retains the rustic character of the Campo de la Sierra de Aracena housing. 

The house was built in the 18th century and among its walls was the old chestnut dryer of the town. What initially was the workplace of the inhabitants, hundreds of years later has become a wonderful holiday. 

In the rehabilitation process they decided to keep some of the corners, although the distribution and use of the interior rooms is no longer the same. This is the case of the patio, a large exterior enclosure, with stone soils and endless toe and pots that embellish the white walls that surround it. In it, there is a roofed area and enough space to park the vehicle.

Our house can host a maximum of 3 people and has a room with 2 beds.

The wooden gate of the entrance moves us to a beautiful living room. Perfect for lunch by having a large capacity table, and also for rest and recollection on cold days, since visitors will have at their disposal a chimney and a sofa-cama two places.

The kitchen is small but very flirtatious and practice by incorporating the induction system. He communicates with the room and it is the curtains of his cabinets and the yellow color of the tile that characterize him. 

The bedroom is a broad, bright and rustic stay, which has managed to combine old elements, such as the forge header or the wooden rocking chair with the rest of quality furniture. We had in mind to offer an accessible home for all, which is why we design the bathroom thinking about the people with reduced mobility.

It is its 700 inhabitants who make source wrapped one of the quietest villages in the Sierra. It belongs to the Natural Park of Aracena and Picos de Aroche, so it is not uncommon to find a multitude of holm oak forests in the surroundings of the municipality.

The stone streets are characteristic decorated by enchanted houses that remind us of the aesthetics of the mountain constructions.  
Water is one of the most important elements of the people, so we can find diversity of sources like that of the twelve pipes, which has a water spring that in the history of the people has never been seen in drought.  The bullring is characteristic, one of the oldest in the peninsula as well as the botanical garden, with more than one hundred species of plants brought from different parts of the world that can be visited by tourists.
