If you want to live the experience of staying in an authentic Catalan farmhouse, this is the ideal place!
For this, you will travel to the Barcelona town of Cardona, in a quiet area with a landscape that combines plains full of green and mountain spaces.
Our accommodation is designed for large groups, both family, friends or even work colleagues, since we can accommodate a total of 21 people if we include the six extra beds that can be added.
How could it be otherwise, we have a large farm of about 1000 m2, with green spaces in which to enjoy the good weather, a gazebo equipped with tables and two s barbecue, ideal for preparing a good meal with yours, or an original outdoor brazier that, even in winter, will allow you to enjoy the outdoors without getting cold.
Inside the property we have a old shed converted into a multipurpose room, with a spacious terrace on the upper floor, while the ground floor houses a bike storage room and a laundry room.
The farmhouse itself, originally from at the beginning of the 10th century I, has been renovated to achieve a comfortable space, but, at the same time, maintaining the essence of its ancient origins.
Its interior is distributed in three different floors, which we detail below:

• Ground Floor

As soon as we enter, we have the hall, with a bright white color and decorative elements that recall the farming works of the past, and which leads to a room, called as Racó del Pagès, which has been maintained with its appearance originates l and reconverting it into a kind of museum. From this room we also find the access to the bathroom on this floor.
Returning to the hall, we find access to the kitchen, which maintains its original stone walls combined with a modern equipment and a central island.
Moving forward in the tour, the kitchen communicates with the dining room, which has two spacious tables where you can all meet during meals, until you reach the living room space, with a couple of comfortable sofas around the column which houses both the wood burning fireplace and the television.

• First Floor

This floor houses the six rooms of the house. Four rooms are double , three of them equipped with a double bed and the fourth with two beds. The fifth room is triple and has a double bed and a single bed, while the last bedroom is quadruple, with a double bed and a pair of beds.
Each room has access to its own bathroom, all with great luminosity, highlighted by the white tiling, which includes a shower tray.

• Second Floor

It is a large attic space, accessed through the stairs, reaching a small living room with several sofas and armchairs along with a wood stove XX, which leads to the meeting room, which leads to the meeting room, equipped with a wide table and a screen of television in which to make presentations combined with a space with several seats.
In addition, this floor includes another bathroom to give more comfort to guests.

Cardona is located in the interior of the province of Barcelona.
It is a beautiful medieval village in which its main tourist attraction is its Castle, located on a high promontory on which the entire city and its surroundings can be perfectly seen.
It is an imposing castle due to its construction as old fortress that supports on its walls more than 11 centuries of history, which houses in its interior a spectacular Gothic style patio.

But not everything remains in the city, since the natural environment is full of surprising spaces, and as an example of this, you cannot leave without visiting the Cultural Park of the Salt Mines, which offer a tour of the old salinas.
