In the valley of Salazar, in the heart of the Pyrenees, is this rural house. It is a farmhouse built in the nineteenth century and completely renovated to give all the comforts of modern life without losing the stone walls and wooden ceilings.

Specially equipped for families with children and large groups, this house can accommodate up to 8 people and is divided into:

• 4 double bedrooms, 3 of them furnished with 2 c singles and the remaining one with a bed marriage. In addition, there is also availability of 2 cribs for marriages traveling with babies.

• 2 bathrooms completely equipped with hair dryer and seat to bathe the baby.

• A kitchen completely equipped with everything you need to make household tasks easier, between which are a dishwasher and a highchair for the baby.

• A living room for guests to relax in front of the fireplace, reading a book of the library, watching a movie on the DVD, a program on the television or preparing the next day's tour with brochures tourist information.

• A dining room where you can play table games when you are not eating.

• A balcony from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the environment.

• A parking area near the house to have no problems leaving the car.

• Heating to regulate the temperature of the house at any time of the year.

Ezcároz is a small town of 329 inhabitants located in the quiet Pyrenean valley of Salazar. This valley is dotted with villages of white houses and sloping roofs, typical of mountains. The Sierra de Abodi closes in the northern part of the valley, and one of the excursions that can be done in this area is the peak of Orhi, the highest in this area, from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the jungle of Irati.

The Jungle of Irat i is one of the best preserved beech forests in Europe. With its 17,000 hectares, it is one of the largest forest masses in Navarre and, despite having been exploited since the sixteenth century, the respect of its neighbors means that it is kept in perfect condition. It is crossed by 16 marked trails that show the visitor the most hidden corners of this jungle.

To the east of the valley of Salazar is the Valle del Roncal, where the battle of Olast took place in 732, which stopped the Muslim conquest when a neighbor of the valley cut off the head of the leader of Cordoba. In this valley a coveted sheep cheese with designation of origin is manufactured.
