We are in the beautiful historic town of La Rochefoucauld belonging to the department of Charente in the south-west of France.
This area is rich in beauty and history. It preserves towns and villages that are essential for a rural stay in France.

We invite you to our charming accommodation which is located 100 meters from shops and restaurants.
Its location is ideal for a quiet and disconnected stay but at the same time close to attractions and activities. It is surrounded by a beautiful flowered and wooded garden equipped with furnished terraces. There is a part of this space from which you can observe the famous château de la Rochefoucauld.

It is a gîte, on the 1st floor of a larger space, which accommodates 4 to 6 people in a large and warm space.
It consists of a very comfortable living room. It contains:

• of armchairs,
• sofas
• and a table in front of a television

Its window overlooks the town's castle.

The kitchen is spacious and bright, it is decorated in white earthenware and it is provided with all the necessary appliances.
1 charming double room contains a romantic and sweet atmosphere, it is equipped with:

• a double bed
• a cabinet
• and a private bathroom with bathtub and double sink.

1 other double room with:

• 2 twin beds decorated in harmony and care
• and a private bathroom with a shower cabinet.

And if you are a larger group, we can provide you with an extra double room with 2 beds of 80, bright and welcoming.

The cottage is very comfortable and pleasant, it contains all the necessary amenities to have the best stay of your vacation. It is also completely heated and has a private terrace at your disposal.
Enjoy your vacation and sunbathe in the flowered garden in front of the beautiful fortified castle.

The Charente is a department full of beauty and history thanks to its magnificent villages and historic towns. But not only that, because thanks to its location between the interior of the territory and the ocean it is surrounded by several very special and important places of France such as the magnificent regional natural park of Périgord-Limousin which presents a perfect opportunity for hikers and climbers.

On the river around the city (Late) you will find nautical activities to do with the family for young and old. We invite you to take a guided walk and discover the historic sites on the shores.

La Rochefoucauld is a lively town and perfect for a cultural walk. Visit the C open Carmelites and contemplate its cloister, the Wednesday and Saturday market and discover the local products. Then visit the beautiful castle and find out its history.
The streets of the city are picturesque. The atmosphere, the architecture of the houses and the gastronomy are exceptional.
