La Atalaya de Alcaraz

The La Atalaya de Alcaraz rural house is located in the province of Albacete, within the municipality that gives it the name: Alcaraz.

It is a palatial house which, as a curious fact, was built by one of the ministers of King Alfonso XIII, who enjoyed its large interior areas during the summers.

At the moment, it conserves the basic construction that formed the high ceilings and the stairs with their imposing railings that give access to the highest plants of this enormous house.

With a plot of more than 100,000 square meters and 1,600 square meters built, our accommodation raises three floors which can accommodate from 10-15 people to more than 50 people, all this without mixing groups, enjoying the innumerable activities that we have included; so it is one of the perfect residences to go in groups and hold celebrations and even school camps.

Your interior stays are made up of:

• Several music rooms where the acoustics is perfect, enveloping our guests in a climate that encourages rest and tranquility. They consist of high ceilings that are decorated by huge frames with gold frames, retaining that old style of which we spoke; to sit, several old wooden benches, restored and upholstered with fabrics reminiscent of the typical of a palace.
  • A reading room, quite wide, where you can relax reading a good book that you can choose from the library that is resting on the wall. In the center, a auxiliary round table, built in wood, for, say, a coffee in the meantime. The floors are dressed with large rugs that finish decorating the rooms.
    • A billiard room, following the line of wide spaces in which, in the center, the main element has been placed: the pool table; on it, an old chandelier that brings luminosity, extending the one that enters through the huge windows. Spread out on the walls, several antique armchairs with high backs and wooden details, to sit and watch the game.
      • A huge room with a wood fireplace, for which a set of wooden logs is provided to fan the fire in the coldest times of the year. year. Around it there is a set of sofas of several seats which are accompanied by armchairs and armchairs. On the walls and ceilings, the decorative elements are present; going through paintings and traditional lamps.
        • 3 dining rooms of different sizes; one of them has a fireplace, being the largest, the other two also have a considerable extension, although more reduced than the previous one. All of them have wooden tables and a set of plastic chairs that leave space for all the guests of the house to eat.
          • 9 bedrooms, on the highest floors of the house, consisting of several single beds or bunk beds, which are combined in their interiors, which are also composed of furniture to order and deposit personal clothing and equipment such as bedside tables, cupboards and lockers.             • 4 bathrooms that, inside, have a row of showers, sinks and toilets, in addition to the mirrors and everything needed for daily cleaning . They are divided into two only for girls, and the other two, only for boys.

              
              Already in the outdoor areas, with a huge plot, leisure and fun are insured, being able, for free, to perform, in the area enabled for this, a session of > paintball, archery, make zip line or climb in your rocódromo, integrated into the house's own façade.
              
              If we are not so intrepid, we can also have a great time by giving us a dip in the pool that is outside, or walking through your garden discovering, among its extension, several ecological vegetable gardens from which you can obtain the most natural products of the area, and of course, taste them sitting on the terrace that is located in the main part of the facade, and that is enabled with outdoor furniture.
