La Basna

In the small town of Santotís, within the municipality of Tudanca, in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, is our home, which adds its own characteristics to the tranquility provided by a population that does not exceed 20 inhabitants and the beauty of the natural environment that surrounds you.
The facade of the house, having 3 floors, is built in bare stone, following the typical architecture of the area and maintaining a decorative line present throughout the town. As outdoor areas, has a balcony or terrace and a patio with barbecue and picnic area so that you can prepare our best meats and enjoy the good weather, or not, because is roofed and glazed.

The maximum capacity that this house admits is a maximum of 12 people, so inside we find the following rooms and their characteristics:

• A open-plan area decorated in cream with wooden details, giving the feeling of a little house lost in the mountains. In it, the living room is mixed in a very ergonomic and intelligent way, with several green sofas in front of a fireplace and the television, the dining room, with a XX long wooden table, and S chairs. kitchen, fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and being open by a American bar.

• 5 double bedrooms, one of them with a double bed and the rest with single beds. Each bedroom has a range of color in its decorative details. They all have furniture that will help you unpack your luggage. The 2 people left off the hook will sleep in extra beds.

• 5 complete bathrooms y in unbeatable conditions. Each of them is inside one of the bedrooms, keeping the color range in their decoration. They have as an extra the towel set included.

Santotís is a small town located in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, more specifically in the municipality of Tudanca. The population of the four towns that make up the municipality does not reach 200 people, extensive livestock being the main occupation of its inhabitants, so that tranquility is an almost obligatory characteristic, a luxury for those who visit us.
Tudanca is the Tablanca from the novel "Peñas Arriba" by the Cantabrian writer José Mª de Pereda. It has been declared a "Historic Artistic Complex" and is worth a visit, including in this the " Casona de Tudanca " through which all the writers of the generation of 27 passed and left here some of their legacy. 2 km from La Basna begins an impressive gorge that takes us to the Envalse de la Cohilla where the Polaciones valley begins. This place is a must as well as stopping at the top of the reservoir to contemplate the spectacular landscape.
