La Casa Alta

The rural accommodation The Casa Alta is located in a rural and cultural environment, next to the Church of Santa Eulalia, in Walls of Nava, which has been born at Renaissance painter Pedro Berruguete and poet Jorge Manrique.

The house, with a facade and very characteristic porch, has a capacity for 10 people and is available as follows:

Living-dining room: a large room with television and several armchairs attached to the walls, accompanied by small tables and in the center a large dining table, made of wood, with numerous chairs around it. On the upper floor there is another lounge-gallery, very conducive to relax, read or chat with the other guests of the house.

Kitchen: complete, with the relevant appliances and cabinets with utensils and enough utensils to cook. In addition it also has an American-style countertop with chairs around.

Areas of cleanliness and rest: 5 bedrooms, all doubles and equipped with bedding and own bathrooms, equipped with towels and toilet utensils; one of the bathrooms has a bathtub.

It is decorated in a classic way, with antique furniture and decorative details that take us back to past centuries.

The house also has a warehouse, dating from the second half of s. XVII, which has always maintained a good stock of wine and where red broth has been made for decades, which we have called "venatoris" .

Outside the house we find a stone patio with garden furniture to relax in the open air. And it also has a barbecue and a table with chairs to make great family meals or with friends.

Casa Alta is located in the Plaza de España of Walls of Nava, in the Palencia region of Land of Fields. In the village you can discover different points of tourist interest such as the churches of Santa Eulalia (where works of P. Berruguete are exhibited), San Martín or Santa María, the old monastery of San Francisco or the remains of the walls that in its they protected the city.

From the town you can arrive in just 15 minutes to the city of Palencia, where it is worth visiting the Cristo del Otero, the Main Bridge, San Andrés de Arroyo, the Iron Bridge or the Hospital of San Bernabé.
