Arroyo Arandilla is a small municipality of 20 inhabitants located in the province of Cuenca. A short distance is the city of Cuenca, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1996. In this city it is a delight to walk through the historic center, from which the Hoces of the Júcar River are contemplated, plagued by Renaissance and Baroque buildings.
Near the capital of the province is the enchanted city, a natural place mostly formed by limestone rock that due to erosion has original forms. Toros, bridges and figures reminiscent of animals and objects adorn this natural environment that is worth watching.
Not far from this area is the birth of the Cuervo River, located in the Muela de San Felipe at 1490m altitude. It is a spring that sprouts from the mountain and slips through the eroded rock forming impressive drizzles. In winter these chorreras freeze leading to a beautiful natural show.
